On Thursday, a Twitter user tweets that, "Indians have been brainwashed into thinking that Lata Mangeshkar has a good voice”. Soon, the tweet went viral and many shared their opinion on the same leading to Lata Mangeshkar trending in India.

Singer Adnan Sami who strongly disagreed with the statement came down heavily on the Twitter user. Lata Mangeshkar is known as the nightingale of India and has been singing for decades. Adnan, like many other admirers of the veteran singer, schooled the Twitter user. Replying to the tweet, Adnan wrote, "Bandar Kya Jaane Adrak Ka Swaad (What does the monkey know of the good taste of ginger). ...It’s better to stay silent and appear stupid than to open your mouth & remove all doubt!!"


Before this tweet, Sami had shared a throwback picture of legendary trio Lata Mangeshkar, Noor Jehan and Asha Bhosle. "What an Iconic & Historic Photo! #LataMangeshkar #NoorJehan #AshaBhosle," he captioned the post.
