Amrita Rao talks about being a new mother

Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol welcomed a baby boy on Sunday morning and the new parents are over the moon with the new member of their family. Amrita Rao and RJ Anmol took to their Instagram last month to announce the pregnancy and their fans were elated with the news. Speaking to a tabloid about embracing motherhood for the first time, Amrita Rao couldn’t help but talk about how blessed the couple feels.

She even revealed that they have shortlisted a few names but haven’t finalized anything yet. Talking about holding her baby for the first time, she said that the feeling is wondrous and her husband’s expression on seeing the baby for the first time was priceless. Amrita Rao further spoke about how she keeps comparing herself to her mother and those are some big shoes to fill in. while gaining weight during pregnancy is common, Amrita Rao thanks her genes for not putting on any weight except the baby bump. She also spoke about how she got home-cooked food during the entire lockdown as their grandmothers took turns to stay with them.

Coming to her work, Amrita said that she is thankful that she did not miss out on good work during the lockdown and is planning to resume work in January.
