Kinds of sentences

1)Assertive: A sentence that makes a statement or assertion is called a Declarative or Assertive sentence.
2)Interrogative: A sentence that asks a question is called an Interrogative sentence.
3)Imperative: A sentence that express a command or an entreaty is called an imperative sentence.
4)Optative: A sentence that express wish or prayer is called an Optative sentence.
5)Exclamatory; A sentence express strong feeling or emotion is called an exclamatory sentence.

Again this sentences are devided by two kinds of -

  1. Affirmative
  2. Negative
