Exclamatory Sentence Pattern

A sentence that express strong feeling or emotion is called an Exclamatory Sentence. This sentence build up with two rules-

1. By siting this word(Alas, Hurrah, Ah) etc. Example-

         Alas or Hurrah etc word + Assertive = Exclamatory

Example:

• Alas!The man is dead.
• Hurrah!We have won the match.
• Hush!The man is asleep.

   2.Adding by this word(What,How)--

Example:

• What a nice bird it is!
• How happy you are!
• What a wonderful land it is!

*In interrogative sentence when sit What and How then the verb  sit before the subject. But in Exclamatory sentence the verb sit after the subject and end of the sentence.
